A new low for Hartford radio

John G. Rowland now hosts a weekday 3-6 p.m. talk show on Hartford's 50,000-watt powerhouse, WTIC-AM.

Well, sure! Why give the job to a broadcasting professional with a family to feed when you can hire the ex-con sleazeball who disgraced the Connecticut governor's office, and who already has a six-figure job in his native Waterbury?

So, what's next? A call-in show with former Hartford mayor Eddie Perez? Perhaps WTIC can build a small studio in his prison cell.

Now I know why WTIC got rid of Colin McEnroe: he was too decent for them.
